Edmonds has a charm and character that you can’t find anywhere else—its small-town spirit, creative entrepreneurs, and deep-rooted community pride make it a truly special place.
I created Edmonds’ Outstanding Businesses to spotlight the incredible local businesses and individuals who help make our city such a vibrant place to live and work. Through these featured stories, my goal is to celebrate the people behind the storefronts and give the community a chance to connect more deeply with the businesses that serve them every day.
This blog is also an extension of my passion for supporting small businesses through smart, sustainable marketing. As the founder of Systematic Marketing Solutions, I’ve helped businesses across the country grow their presence online. But this project is personal—it’s about giving back to the town I love by showcasing its best.

Welcome to Shop Local Edmonds (the “Directory,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Shop Edmonds Local website, directory listings, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Purpose of the Directory
Shop Edmonds Local is a curated community directory designed to highlight and promote local businesses in Edmonds, Washington. Our goal is to connect residents and visitors with outstanding businesses that contribute to the Edmonds community.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to register a business listing.
- You must have authority to represent the business you submit.
- All businesses must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
3. Business Listings
- Accuracy – You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information about your business.
- Updates – You are responsible for keeping your listing information up to date.
- Approval – All listings are subject to our review and approval before being published.
- Content Restrictions – Listings may not include content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
4. Directory Use
- You may browse, search, and share directory content for personal or non-commercial use.
- You may not scrape, copy, resell, or misuse directory content.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Directory will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will always produce business results.
